Developed in partnership with acoustic engineer Emanuele Porcinai, award-winning composer Hildur Guðnadóttir’s studio was thought out to be both a welcoming, comfortable space and an acoustically suitable work environment. From the listening position facing the loudspeakers, the acoustic treatment provides an ideal, neutral sound field, thanks to the tailor-made porous absorbers, resonant panels and quadratic residue diffusers spread across the room. The mid to rear portions of the space are optimised to provide a comfortable, supportive acoustic response for both rehearsing and recording situations.
