Launched at Betahaus Berlin in 2012, the workshop provided participants with the opportunity to learn how to create their own Cardboard Lampshades. For a cost lower than the retail price, attendees left with a handmade product. The core concept was to inspire individuals to reconsider their roles as makers versus consumers, encouraging them to choose building over buying. In just three hours, participants transformed a simple sheet of corrugated cardboard (100x70 cm) into a unique, aesthetic piece of furniture, gaining both the product and valuable knowledge.
